UNCG will host a kick-off walk for National Start Walking Day, an America Heart Association (AHA) initiative. The walk will begin at the Minerva Statue on Wednesday, April 6, at 2:41 p.m.

Why 2:41? Because you can gain 2 hours of life expectancy 4 every 1 hour of exercise, the AHA says.
Dress comfortably in Spartan blue and gold, and meet at the Minerva statue behind the EUC at 2:30 p.m. for the 30-minute walk. The walk is designed to get participants up and moving to improve heart health.
