Art After Dark is a new, hands-on program for adults aimed at inspiring creativity. Each workshop explores a different creative process and uses the “Existed: Leonardo Drew” exhibition as a departure point.

Author, educator and filmmaker Nathan Ross Freeman will leads the writing workshop for adults interested in exploring how art can catalyze profound and personal meaning. The workshop focuses on Freeman’s three-part method of delving into subject matter through the senses: to admit, to accept and to share.

Freeman is founder of Montage Showcase Ensemble, Assegai Film Group, Pen & Voice, and Mr. Bones Film LLC. He is co-founder of the Winston-Salem Youth Art Institute. He received a B.E.S.T. Outstanding Faculty Award from UNC Chapel Hill in 2007.

You may participate in one workshop or all of them. No experience is necessary.
