Staff Senate is leading a drive to collect items for Burmese families living in Guilford County.

It is being held in coordination with the UNC Staff Assembly Statewide Day of Service.

“We’re currently collecting educational items – DVDs, VHS tapes and educational books – through third grade for Burmese refugee families,” says senate chair Kevin Bullard.

Collection boxes have been placed in various buildings, including Sink, Forney, McIver, McNutt, Bryan, MHRA, Mossman, School of Music, School of Nursing and HHP (third floor).
