On Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m., the Center for Housing and Community Studies, the UNCG Sociology department and Tiny House Greensboro will host a free screening of the film “Destiny’s Bridge.” The documentary tells the story of a New Jersey homeless community evicted from unused public land where they lived for eight years in their settlement, Tent City. Following the eviction, the residents set out to create their own tiny house community called Destiny’s Bridge. The screening, which is in the Petty Building, room 136, will be preceded by tiny house tours, beginning at 6:30 p.m. It will be followed by a Q and A with the filmmaker, Jack Ballo, and Tent City founder, Minister Steve Brigham.
