UNCG’s Counseling Center in the Gove Student Health Center released the following information:

The recent riots and violent acts at the U.S. Capitol and other locations throughout our country are undoubtedly impacting the mental health and well-being of our UNCG community. Direct and indirect exposure to such events can be troubling, concerning, and traumatizing and result in many emotional reactions. As always, if you are in distress, please know we are here to help.

Students may contact The Counseling Center at any time by calling 336-334-5874 or https://shs.uncg.edu/cc

ComPsych, the University’s Employee Assistance Provider (800-630-4847), can provide support to faculty and staff affected by recent riots and violent acts.
