Dr. LaFarin Meriwether, associate director for Residence Life in the Office of Housing & Residence Life, was recently selected to participate as faculty at two prestigious professional institutes in Student Affairs. Meriwether will serve as one of eight faculty members for the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers’ Regional Entry Level Institute. RELI is a 3-day intensive professional development opportunity for housing professionals in their first three years of full-time experience that will be held in May 2021. SEAHO covers ten Southeastern states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. 

Meriwether was also selected as a faculty member for the American College Personnel Association’s Institute on the Curricular Approach. A leader in establishing curricular design, Meriwether’s expertise will assist and support institutions across the country that are shifting approaches to designing and measuring student learning.
