Find Your Way Here

On Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, the University Libraries will present a talk by Patrick Lee Lucas (Interior Architecture) on the theory and evolution of learning spaces. It will be at 4 p.m. in the EUC Maple Room. Last semester, Lucas’ students engaged in projects to re-envision lobbies as learning spaces, working specifically with the Greensboro Historical Museum, Industries of the Blind, and the Weatherspoon. This semester, Lucas’ students have undertaken a project to re-imagine three distinct spaces within the University Libraries: The Music Library, the lobby of the Tower, and the Jackson Library Reading Room.
