Interested in being a part of the student newspaper? How about being involved in the wizard-like sport of Quidditch or Chinese Culture and Language? With more than 200 student groups, getting involved in campus life is easy for students at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Categories for student organizations include: academic, social, governing, professional and religious, to name a few.

“We believe student organizations and campus life are an important part of the student experience, and we encourage students to find their place to get involved at UNCG,” said Jeff Lail, assistant director, UNCG Campus Activities and Programs. “Students have to make college experience their own and they will get more from it.  CAP is happy to help students find their place here.”

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) hosts a myriad of events for students. With a specific position on CAB’s executive board, dedicated to almost every aspect of campus life, there’s a special event almost each day of the week. Most events are free with UNCG student ID. Students can visit the CAB calendar of events for more details.

All student organizations, including Greek life, are housed in the Office of Campus Activities and Programs (CAP). Students interested in fraternities and sororities can visit the Greek Life calendar for a list of events or contact Jeffrey C. Lail, 336-334-3008, jclail@uncg.edu.
