UNC Greensboro will award nearly 2,000 degrees during the December Commencement ceremony Friday, Dec. 7 at the Greensboro Coliseum.

The University will confer approximately 1,550 bachelor’s degrees, 330 master’s degrees, 112 doctoral degrees, and two specialist in education degrees. Of the degrees awarded, 104 will be conferred to international students. These figures represent students who received degrees in August as well as those who are completing their degrees in December.

Greensboro city councilman, attorney, and UNCG alumnus Justin Outling will deliver the keynote address. UNCG undergraduate alumna and current MBA student Carrie Longnecker will be the student speaker.

The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. During UNCG Commencement activities, parking at the Coliseum is free and parking permits are not required.

A live stream will be available for faculty, staff, family, and friends who are unable to attend in person. The University’s Doctoral Hooding Ceremony will take place on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m. in UNCG Auditorium. To learn more, visit the Commencement Central website.
