Online programs recognized by U.S. News & World Report

UNC Greensboro has some of the best online degree programs in the nation, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 Best Online Programs rankings released Tuesday, Jan. 26. 

The University was included in the “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs” list, ranking among the top 5 institutions in North Carolina. UNCG’s online bachelor programs also ranked No. 1 in the state for veterans, and its online bachelor’s programs in business ranked No. 2 in the state. 

UNCG’s online master’s programs in nursing, education, and business were also recognized.

The School of Nursing’s online master’s programs landed top rankings. UNCG’s Master of Science in Nursing program ranked No. 1 in the UNC System and No. 14 overall in the “Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs” list. Its MSN in Nursing Education program ranked No. 2 in the UNC System and No. 8 overall.

The Bryan School of Business and Economics’ Master of Science in Information Technology and Management (MSITM) program and non-MBA master’s business programs ranked No. 3 in the state. 

Additionally, the School of Education’s master’s programs ranked among the top 5 in the state and No. 2 for veterans.
