For the 18th consecutive year, UNCG is recognized as one of nation’s best institutions for undergraduate education according to The Princeton Review’s “The Best 381 Colleges: 2017 Edition.”

The guide, published annually since 1992, highlights just 15 percent of the nation’s 2,500 four-year colleges. In addition to making “The Best 381 Colleges” list, UNCG was also named to the “Best Southeastern” and “Green Colleges” lists.

In its profile of UNCG, The Princeton Review notes that students appreciate “the level of professionalism and knowledge” among the faculty and the personalized instruction they receive. The profile also highlights opportunities for “off-campus engagement” that help create a “sense of community,” as well as the variety of campus activities for students.

The guide is based on institutional data, school visits, feedback from Princeton Review staff and its advisory board and student surveys. The Princeton Review does not rank the “Best Colleges” numerically. For more information and to view the university’s profile, visit princetonreview.com/best381.
