The annual summer solstice party hosted by the Weatherspoon will be Friday, June 18, 7-9 p.m. This year, it’s billed as a “Big Shot” party, to celebrate the exhibition “Big Shots: Andy Warhol Polaroids.”
Disco balls, a photo booth, Warhol fright wigs and polyester will be right in style. The Weatherspoon encourages guests to dress in Warhol-era attire (think 1970s and early 1980s).
All the galleries will be open and food, beverages and live music by Rough Hands can be enjoyed in the sculpture garden.
Admission is free.
