For the fifth consecutive year, UNC Greensboro is the presenting sponsor of the Triad Business Journal’s annual Bizwomen Mentoring Monday event.
This year’s event will take place Monday, Feb. 22, from 10-11 a.m. via Zoom. In years past, the event has been held on UNCG’s campus.
The event is free for all participants. Individuals can register here. The deadline for registration is Friday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m.
Mentoring Monday provides an opportunity for women business leaders, young professionals, and students to connect and learn from one another. Mentoring Monday events will take place in 43 Business Journal markets across the country.
Four Spartans will participate as mentors: Dr. Terri Shelton, interim provost and vice chancellor for research and engagement; Dr. Sherine Obare, dean of the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering; Kimberly Osborne, interim vice chancellor for strategic communications; and Natasha Williams, project manager. Additionally, Dr. Shelton will make opening remarks.
